Volunteer Opportunities:
Please register for all schools with SBISD HERE. FJWC volunteers at multiple schools in the district, please make sure you “check” all the schools in our area.
Buffalo Creek Elementary: For those of you that plan on volunteering at BCE Elementary this year please go in and register as a SBISD volunteer and select BCE as one of your school preferences. Volunteer opportunities will be communicated in the next few weeks Thanks!
AYAM: Please consider signing up to volunteer for 2nd Grade Field Trips to AYAM. Click on the sign up genius HERE.
Bayou City Blessings in a Backpack: BCBB delivers and distributes weekend food to over 600 students at Spring Shadows Elementary (almost) every Friday of the school year. We need drivers and ‘boots on the ground’. It’s so fun and the best way to start your weekend! Click HERE to volunteer.
Blessings in a Backpack: Welcome back FJWC, I hope everyone had a great summer! I have the privilege of being the Bayou City Blessings in a Backpack at Holy Spirit liaison. Below is information and signups for volunteer opportunities in September, October and November:
1. Friday morning deliveries of weekend food bags to local SBISD elementary schools – food bags will be loaded into the back of your car under the portecache on the Tallowood Drive side of the Holy Spirit parking lot. You will deliver the food bags to one of the following schools: Meadow Wood, Nottingham, Hollibrook, Treasure Forest, Bunker Hill and Hunters Creek Elementary (once a month). Easy peasy way to get service hours! Click below:

2. Community food packing at Holy Spirit – assembly line style packing of the food bags which are delivered to local schools on Friday mornings. Great way to get service hours with your kids! Click below:
