FJWC’s Annual Holiday Party

Thursday, December 12th @ 7pm at Nottingham Forest Club

Come kick off the holidays with your FJWC friends while enjoying some sips, bites and laughs. The theme this year is “Most festive”. Dig in your closet for some fun and festive holiday wear! “Most festive” will win a gift card! There will also be a gift exchange and if you would like to participate pleaase bring a $20 gift. Invitations were sent out  11/21, please RSVP by 12/6. Happy Holidays!

AYAM

We need your help! Every 2nd grade classroom in SBISD is given the opportunity to come to the Altharetta Yeargin Art Museum (AYAM) for their district fine arts field trip. AYAM needs all volunteers to please complete the SBISD volunteer background check. They now have the Raptor System just like all SBISD Schools and need to be in compliance with the SBISD.

Looking for a ticket to introduce fine arts to children, see a concert, earn 8 hours in one day and get your 10,000 steps in? Don’t go off key and miss your chance to sign up to volunteer for student concerts hosted by the Houston Symphony. Performances are at Jones Hall. See you at the shows!

FAMILY POINT RESOURCES

FAMILY POINT RESOURCES needs some MOM volunteers to help 1st graders with reading on Tuesday afternoon between 3:15-4:15. Please consider volunteering to help these sweet kiddos out.

Family Point Resources programs rely on volunteers to be successful and help the staff support participants. It’s a great way for our kids to get hours helping out after school tutoring, playing sports, games and more. Both adults and kids need to complete the background check before volunteering.
Steps to Becoming a FPR Volunteer:

2.Complete Background Check & Abuse Prevention Training

3. Complete online FPR Volunteer Training
