FJWC Annual Holiday Party

Please come and enjoy some sips, bites and laughs. Dress FESTIVE! It can be Christmas Cute, Holiday Haute or Ugly Sweater! Also, please bring cans of chicken noodle and/or tomato soup for December’s food drive.

Blessings in a Backpack – Bayou City: Blessings Fall 2022 sign up HERE!

Blessings in a Backpack (Bayou City) postponed the Volunteer Appreciation luncheon originally scheduled for December 1st. Once a date is scheduled in the spring I will pass it along.

December’s food focus is canned chicken noodle or tomato soup. Please consider bringing a can(s) to the FJWC Christmas party (I’ll have a collection bin) or to Holy Spirit when you are there for Blessings activities.

Houston Symphony: Sign up HERE to volunteer for student concerts hosted by the Houston Symphony. As of now, the concerts available for sign up are the only ones planned for this school year. See you at the show!

MDPC Food Pantry: The Fuente Pantry is still distributing food to 400+ families every Saturday and we will need more volunteers every week. Sign up HERE  and join us for a couple of hours any Saturday.

BCE Volunteer Opportunities: If you want an extremely flexible volunteer opportunity please consider helping the Buffalo Creek Elementary Librarian Susie! She would love help any school day between 8-3. Needs are re-shelving books and a few other projects within the library. Sign Up using her Google Doc:
