Happy New Year! We hope you had a wonderful holiday with your family and friends. Now it’s time to kick off 2024 and get back to volunteering! Be on the lookout for the 2024 Galentine’s Auction RSVP. It will be a great evening at Lakeside Country Club, February 15th.

Buffalo Creek Elementary: Want a SUPER flexible opportunity to make a HUGE difference? Choose your time and your day HERE!

Blessings in a Backpack: Happy New Year FJWC! Make good on your new year’s resolution to volunteer more and help Bayou City Blessings in a Backpack at Holy Spirit deliver food bags on Friday mornings to 9 area elementary schools. In 2024 they will start delivering to Wilchester Elementary! They have also asked for a volunteer each Friday morning to help Michelle Putnick (Volunteer Coordinator) count and load food bags into drivers’ cars. Finally Blessings has asked that volunteers provide their cell phone #s in the Comments section when signing up on the Sign up Genius. HERE is the January sign up.

Spring Branch Blessings in a Backpack: Sign-up HERE for 2nd semester packing nights for Spring Branch Blessings. The May dates have not been included yet. We are waiting for confirmation of availability from the Church – stay tuned! Thank you in advance for your help.

Sign up HERE to help us deliver food bags to Sherwood and Thornwood Elementary Schools. At Sherwood, bags are delivered into individual student backpacks. At Thornwood, bags are delivered in groups to each grade level classroom. Both service opportunities are completed by 9:00AM. Thank you!!

Houston Symphony: 2024 Sign-ups are up! Looking for a ticket to introduce fine arts to children, see a concert, and get your 10,000 steps in? Don’t go off key and miss your chance to sign up to volunteer for student concerts hosted by the Houston Symphony. Click HERE and see you at the shows!

 If you prefer to volunteer on Saturdays, sign up to volunteer at the Houston Symphony family concerts.  Opportunities are available for both adults and kids (15 or older and volunteering with a parent).  Click HERE to volunteer.
