What could be more important than learning about children’s mental health? Dr. Jocelyn Abrams will join us to discuss this VERY important topic. Dr. Abrams completed her Ph.D. at the University of Houston and her pre-doctoral fellowship in Clinical Psychology at Yale University. Dr. Abrams aids adolescents/young adults in developing coping skills and provides parent coaching to cope with their own stress and anxiety as our children face the challenges of life. Blessings in a Backpack –Sherwood Elementary – Below you’ll find a sign-up genius for Friday deliveries to Sherwood Elementary for January and February. As a reminder, we go into the school and hand-deliver the bags to the students. Sign up HERE.

Blessings in a Backpack – Spring Shadows: Every Friday, Bayou City Blessings in a Backpack volunteers deliver and distribute weekend food bags to every student at Spring Shadows Elementary School in SBISD. That’s over 600 bags! Can you spare an hour? Sign up HERE!
