It’s amazing how quickly Spring has arrived and we’re wrapping up another incredible year of volunteering. If you haven’t logged your hours yet, please do and don’t forget to remind your children as well. Applications for senior scholarships and Work Crew/Juniorette board members are still open but will be closing this week.  I encourage all children to apply, they have nothing to lose and a lot to gain! 
It’s been a great year and we look forward to celebrating everything we’ve accomplished at the Spring Luncheon. Be on the lookout for your invitation! Kirstin.

Senior Scholarships

LAST CALL for SENIOR SCHOLARSHIP applications are now being accepted through April 4th. Please make sure your seniors have completed ALL their hours before submitting their application. You can access the form HERE.

Want your kids MORE involved?

Officer applications are open and we need Juniorettes and Work Crew members to step up! Note that you must be a member in good standing and have completed a minimum of 12 service hours this year to be eligible. Applications are due by Monday, April 7th at 5 pm.

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES: 

BUFFALO CREEK ELEMENTARY– DOUBLE HOURS OPPORTUNITY

It’s SPRING TIME AND BUFFALO CREEK ELEMENTARY is ready to celebrate on SATURDAY APRIL 12. They need LOTS of help to make this event a succes. This is a great opportunity for adults and students to get those last hours you need for the year. Better yet, you will get DOUBLE HOURS for volunteering!!!  Click HERE to volunteer.

 

AYAM

Last chance to buy up to THREE hours benefiting AYAM! Dont forget to submit your monetary hours and log the amount purchased. Adult members only! Zelle or Check to FJWC!

 

Every 2nd grade classroom in SBISD is given the opportunity to come to the Altharetta Yeargin Art Museum (AYAM) for their district fine arts field trip. AYAM needs all volunteers to please complete the SBISD volunteer background check. They now have the Raptor System just like all SBISD Schools and need to be in compliance with the SBISD.  Click HERE to volunteer.

BAYOU CITY BLESSINGS IN A BACKPACK

FJWC-Let’s finish strong. This is the final sign up for the remainder of the school year. If you still need hours or have finished your hours we still need help with delivering weekend food bags to children in our local schools. FJWC is the primary group of volunteers for Bayou City Blessings in a Backpack. Your generosity of time is greatly appreciated.

MAM

This is a GREAT opportunity to earn 8 hours in 1 day! (Shift is actually only from 8:15am – 1pm but you get 8 hours credit)
