FJWC Week of September 5th

Kick Off Meeting and Membership:

        Thank you to everyone who showed up to our Kick Off Meeting, Sunday, August 28! It was so good to see so many smiling faces and to discuss all our volunteer opportunities and social events that we have planned for this year. If you still have not joined, you still have time. Please go to www.fjwc.org to pay your dues. Our membership drive ends Thursday, September 15 at midnight, as we will be turning off the link to join at that time. If you have questions about whether or not you have paid your dues, please contact Kathy Douglass or Darcy Martin Gagnon for assistance. Have a super week! ~ Darcy

Below you will find useful links for multiple volunteer opportunities. 

• Register HERE to be a SBISD volunteer for the current school year.
• SUBMIT eBlast communication or questions to FJWC by Friday @ 5pm for the following week.
• The last day to JOIN FJWC is September 15th!
• The Juniorette/Work Crew kick-off meeting is Sunday, September 11th @ 4pm.

MAM needs volunteers next week. It will take place at the Main Campus (1625 Blalock ) next Wednesday, 9/7 from 1pm-3pm. 4 volunteers are needed to help with the following:
– Record serial numbers from IT equipment on a spreadsheet
– Sort IT equipment and move around items that can be anywhere from 5 to 30 lbs
If anyone is interested, they can email me pshirk@mamhouston.org and let them know you are with FJWC.
