Membership in First Junior Woman’s Club is open to any woman interested in the objectives of the Club who is willing and able to cooperate in it’s work. The teenaged children of members are eligible for membership in Juniorettes (high school girls), JJs (middle school girls), Work Crew (high school boys) and Junior Work Crew (middle school boys).
For women, Active, Interim (3 years of service and no eligible children) and Sustainer (for members who have completed 5 years of membership in good standing). Annual service requirements for the various levels of membership are as follows:
- Active: 30 service hours at one or more of the sponsored charities
- Interim and Sustainer: no service requirement
All members, with the exception of Interims and Sustainers, are also required to serve on at least one standing or special committee for the organization and one auction committee.
Other requirements include the purchase of a designated number of tickets to the fundraising auction and participation in the donation and/or solicitation of auction items (Interims and Sustainers are exempt from this requirement).
Membership in all student groups requires participation in two service projects per year. Students are also expected to attend regularly scheduled meetings. Dues are required and vary depending on the level of membership.
