The requirements to be an ACTIVE MEMBER are:
- Complete the membership form and pay annual dues for the upcoming Club Year no later than September 15th.
- Attend at least 4 of the 9 General Meetings (including the Holiday and Spring Luncheons and the Auction), unless the 3rd Vice President / Membership is notified in advance of any absence, and the Member is excused from attendance.
- Participate in at least 20 hours of service work each Club Year at any of the Sponsored Charities. A maximum of 3 hours of special service work that has been submitted in advance to the 4th Vice President / Philanthropy and has been approved by the Executive Board may be applied toward the required 20 hours of service. Committee Chairs are also credited service hours as noted in Article I, Item G of the FJWC Bylaws. An Active Member may earn up to a maximum of 9 service hours yearly by making up to $225 in monetary donations to our charities, as designated by the Executive Board. (Any amount donated yearly in excess of $225 will not count toward service hours.)
- Serve on one Standing or Special Committee.
- Serve on at least one Auction Committee.
- Donate a designated monetary amount for the Auction.
- No Member shall serve as a Committee Chair or hold any office for more than two consecutive years.
